Elks on Broadway

Back in a day when fraternal organizations were an important part of community and brick and mortar were the foundations of architecture, the Tacoma Elks Temple was constructed at 565 Broadway Street. Built in 1916, the building was designed by E. Frere Champney in what is considered the renaissance-revival style.
